No Lives Matter

We are a group in support of whatever plan the GOP develops to replace the Affordable Care Act.

The GOP’s latest attempt to overhaul healthcare legislation, commonly known as the Graham-Cassidy proposal, has failed. The Senate reported they will not vote on the proposal effectively defeating the measure. Previously, CNN reported Arizona Senator John McCain’s position as follows:

“I cannot in good conscience vote for the Graham-Cassidy proposal,” the Arizona Republican said in a statement. “I believe we could do better working together, Republicans and Democrats, and have not yet really tried. Nor could I support it without knowing how much it will cost, how it will (affect) insurance premiums, and how many people will be helped or hurt by it. Without a full CBO score, which won’t be available by the end of the month, we won’t have reliable answers to any of those questions.”

After careful consideration, we at NLM reject Senator McCain’s stance and firmly support, completely believe in, and place our faith in the hands of whoever develops whatever healthcare plan President Trump is willing to sign.

Here at NLM, we understand that facts, math, and discussion are merely creations of the liberal media to push forward a certain agenda. An agenda against whatever it is we believe. Which we believe in with all our hearts and minds. We urge like minded Americans to no longer subscribe to the lies yet to be put forward by the Wall Street Journal, calculators, and the Congressional Budget Office.

We stand ready and in agreement that no lives matter. No lives matter so long as our plan, whatever it might be, is put forward to the people, who also yearn for it, though they may not realize it. Once whatever healthcare plan is written, developed, and implemented for whoever it is designed to help, they will realize the collective wisdom behind it, just as we do.

Previously, CNN also reported that House Speaker Paul Ryan urged the Senate to pass the Graham-Cassidy health care bill, calling the proposal “our best, last chance to get repeal and replace done.”

At NLM we were pleased to hear Speaker Ryan specifically lay out the plan and its impact, and stood shoulder to shoulder with Speaker Ryan in support of whatever Graham and Cassidy’s legislative aids and friends developed.

However, without the support of McCain and a handful of key Republican votes, the Graham-Cassidy proposal has failed. But all is not lost.

After a lunchtime meeting of Republican senators, at which they definitely dipped bread into gravy, Senator Mitch McConnell said “We haven’t given up on changing the American health care system. We are not going to be able to do that this week, but it still lies ahead of us, and we haven’t given up on that.”

Accordingly, on September 30, NLM is organizing a rally in support of whatever it is Sen. McConnell is describing.
